Software Partners
ANSYS
Granta Design was acquired by ANSYS on 1 February 2019. The acquisition follows a long-standing partnership which has made the GRANTA MI materials information management system interoperable with ANSYS Workbench. GRANTA MI:Materials Gateway for ANSYS Workbench enables users of the widely-used CAE software to directly access and use materials property data and CAE materials models from a GRANTA MI database. Other areas of joint work with the rest of the ANSYS organization include enabling optimization of additive manufacturing processes by integrating experiment and simulation.
Altair
Granta is partnering with Altair, developer of the HyperMesh CAE environment for high fidelity modeling, to enable integration of managed materials data into the HyperMesh system. GRANTA MI:Materials Gateway enables access to materials data, managed in a corporate GRANTA MI database, from directly within HyperMesh. Granta is also a member of the Altair Partner Alliance (APA), enabling APA members to access Granta’s CES Selector software using their existing HyperWorks Units at no additional cost.
Autodesk
Granta and Autodesk have partnered to develop integrations between Granta materials data and the Autodesk Inventor application.
BETA CAE
ANSYS Granta has partnered with BETA CAE to create GRANTA MI:Materials Gateway for ANSA. This embedded app runs within your ANSA software, in either Windows or Linux versions, and provides direct access to your company’s GRANTA MI materials database.
Dassault Systèmes
Granta has partnered with Dassault Systèmes to support users of the Abaqus/CAE suite with direct access to materials property reference data directly within their familiar CAE environments. Granta also supports users of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform through an integration with GRANTA MI materials information management and enables access to materials data from within CATIA v5.
PTC
Granta is a Gold member of the PTC Partner Advantage Program. The GRANTA MI:Materials Gateway for Creo enables users of the widely-used CAD software from PTC to directly access and use materials property data from a GRANTA MI database. Granta also provides a sample database of materials property data which is made available to every Creo user as part of the standard implementation. GRANTA MI:Materials Gateway for Windchill PLM integrates materials data into the product lifecycle.
Siemens PLM Software
Granta is a Foundation Software and Technology Partner of Siemens PLM Software. Materials data stored within the IMM module in the Teamcenter PLM system to be synchronized with GRANTA MI, the company’s ‘gold source’ of materials data. This ensures consistent material definitions throughout the product lifecycle. GRANTA MI:Materials Gateway for NX enables validated materials property data and models to be quickly and consistently accessed and applied from within NX, providing fully-traceable inputs for design and simulation.
