Case Study: Sustainable Development Projects - 4 Case Studies for Workshops

Developed for use in courses, focusing on sustainability aspects with interdisciplinary groups, these case studies with slides help in teaching this complex subject to students. At their core is the 5-layer methodology, developed by Professor Mike Ashby in collaboration with academics from different universities. This methodology was used in a number of workshops in Europe and the USA, complemented with several case studies. This methodology is also described in detail in "Materials and Sustainable Development" book (Ashby et. all. 2015), the Winner of a 2016 Most Promising New Textbook Award from the Textbook and Academic Authors Association.
