Certain material subsets contain properties that are unique to that subset. For example, datasheets in the “MaterialUniverse: Stainless alloys” subset contain properties specific to the processing of metals, such as Weldability.

To perform a selection on properties unique to a subset, change the selection project database table to the required subset. Create a chart or limit stage, and for Stainless alloys, Weldability will be listed under ‘Processing properties’.

Note: if you have created a limit stage before you select the subset, the limit stage won’t be updated with the new properties. You’ll need to create a new limit stage after selecting the subset.
